English Cream Golden Retreivers have been our passion since 2000. Our journey started in Roseville, CA raising 6 both Golden Retrievers and English Cream Golden Retrievers. In 2005 our passion expanded from expanding our family of English Cream Golden Retrievers to breeding them so you could expand your family.
In 2018, we moved out of the hustle and bustle of California to North Carolina where we have 9 acres to breed and train our puppies. Our puppies are raised kennel free and are loved and cared for just like our own pups until you welcome them into your family.
Breeding is a very complicated and serious decision; as ethical breeders, we have researched pedigrees and analyzed what can be expected from a certain set of characteristics to try to improve upon their own dogs as well as add to the breed as a whole. Responsible breeders have a goal they breed towards; we do not breed just to see what will be produced. We understand the genetics behind dogs (colors, health issues, temperament, etc.) and we test breeding dogs for hereditary issues such as Hip Dysplasia. We will only place our puppies in healthy, happy, suitable homes.
· Is the breeder’s facility well kept?
· Are you able to visit the facility?
· Do you like the breeder?
· Are the puppies AKC registered?
· Are the puppies properly inoculated and cared for?
· Is the breeder able to help you with your puppy (from providing advice on food, training, etc)
· Are the puppies well socialized?
· Do the puppies come with certification and clearances?
· Do the puppy's parents come with certification and clearances?
All prospective puppy owners want their new puppy to have the best possible chance for a long and healthy life, and regular veterinary care is important toward achieving that goal. But in addition, the risks for many significant health issues can be greatly reduced through careful breeding practices, beginning with certain screening examinations of the parents of a litter. Our puppy’s parents have the following clearances in accordance with OFA and SAS
· Hips
· Elbows
· Heart
· Thyroid
· Genetic Testing
